New Norfolk Business Board Seeks Members
A new board set up to boost the economic growth of Norfolk businesses is looking for founder board members.
The Norfolk Business Board by Norfolk County Council is set to deliver an inclusive economic growth programme by developing a partnership between businesses, education, the voluntary sector and local government.
Aims of the Business Board
The objectives of the Norfolk Business Board are to:
Drive an economy that is vibrant, entrepreneurial, inclusive, and sustainable
Support the Norfolk economy with the right jobs, skills, training, and infrastructure
Work well for Norfolk businesses and people, giving everyone the best opportunities for success
Business Board members
The board will bring together business representatives with education and local government.
Representatives are being sought from across:
A range of business sectors
Different areas in Norfolk
Norfolk areas of different sizes and populations
Together, the board will provide a strong, independent, and diverse local voice to help to inform decision making for the county. The collective expertise of the group will:
Shape strategic thinking
Steer programmes of work that Norfolk County Council will put in place to support the economy
Help influence at a local and national level to get the best for Norfolk
